This summer has been so much fun. June flew by way to fast, we had many activities that kept us on our toes. Reflecting back we spent every Tuesday and Thursday with Tee ball. Bo and I coached the Diamond Backs. This was our second year, cool thing is we had two of our own on the team, Jayk and Blayk. It was a lot of fun watching them play. Jayk had a hard lesson on teamwork, way to competitive. Blayk learned how to make it home without getting out. After a busy Tuesday night we added golf for Jayk. We have the most amazing organization here in Heber, where they teach kids 6-12 how to play golf, FREE! So, every Tuesday night and Saturday Jayk would spend 3 hours getting golf lessons. He became quite the little golfer. In the mix of all the kids activities Bo, bought a hot heels. Ok! You are all wondering what on earth is a Hot heels. Well, it is a mechanical steer! I pull it behind a 4-wheeler and Bo rides his horse and ropes it. Let me tell you I am quite the Steer these days. :) Bo gets a lot of practice roping and we don't have to go anywhere. I will post pictures of this family activity later. I think every night that Bo is home, we are roping. Well, that concludes most of June.
The beginning of July was quite fun. After 19 years of living on the mountain, let me tell you I have never enjoyed the Tonto Creek area as much as I do now. My boys love going to Tonto Creek. The creek is perfect for exploring little boys! Jayk and Blayk just run up and down the creek, while little Bryson stands there throwing rocks. It is gorgeous down there, really peaceful. We love just being outdoors.
